We're Stefan & Ekaterina. We built Adira from a kitchen in Sofia to a roaster in California.
I didn't grow up with coffee. It came into my life in my early
twenties — through Ekaterina, the woman who became my wife. We learned
the craft together in a kitchen in Sofia, obsessing over grind size
before we ever thought about a business.
Adira started as the cup we wanted every morning. Never meant to be a 'brand' — just the bag we kept coming back to.
