Where this coffee comes from

Ocean Blend is our medium-dark house espresso, crafted from a careful selection of beans sourced across multiple cooperatives around the world and roasted just shy of the deepest end of the curve. Where our flagship Adira Blend goes dark for maximum body and roast intensity, Ocean Blend pulls back half a step — keeping the rich, full body of a true espresso roast while letting the natural sweetness of the beans stay forward in the cup. Expect layered notes of cocoa, soft caramel, and a clean vanilla finish. Smooth, balanced, and easy to drink — pulled as a straight shot it delivers a thick crema and a long sweet aftertaste; stretched into milk it turns into a creamy, dessert-leaning cappuccino that doesn't need sugar to taste like one.

The softer sibling. If Adira Blend is the espresso you reach for when you want to feel the coffee, Ocean Blend is the one you reach for when you want the coffee to feel friendly. Same global sourcing philosophy, same emphasis on consistency lot to lot — but a slightly gentler roast that opens up sweetness and rounds off the edges. It works as a daily drinker for people who like espresso but don't always want the full force of a dark roast, and it shines as the base for milk drinks where you want the cocoa and vanilla notes to come through rather than the smoke. Built for everyday excellence, without the bite.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

Adira sends you the starting settings for your gear.

A new bag usually means re-dialing your grinder from zero — burning through cup after cup just to find a usable starting point. Tell us your gear once. We build the recipe for your exact kit, and learn your taste as you go.

Your recipe for this coffee

Built for your exact grinder & brewer — so you nail it from the first cups, not the whole bag.

WHO ROASTS THIS

Two Bulgarians. One American coffee aisle.

We’re Stefan and Ekaterina. Coffee came into our lives in Sofia — we learned the craft together in a small kitchen, long before we ever thought about a business.

Then came the American coffee aisle. Sixty bags on the shelf, most asking you to trust the label — half called “premium” with nothing to back it up. None of them told us who grew the beans, or were roasted for the cup in front of you. We couldn’t find the coffee we wanted — so we built it.

Specialty-grade only. Named cooperatives on every label. Roasted in California within days of your order. Not a brand — just the bag we’d actually brew, the one that should have been on the shelf all along.
