Where this coffee comes from
Adira African Blend is an elegant espresso roast built from coffees we source across multiple origins, anchored by distinctive lots from Uganda and Ethiopia. The Ugandan side gives the blend its weight — a thick, chocolatey body and a soft caramel-sweet base that holds beautifully under pressure. The Ethiopian side gives it the lift — a clean citrus brightness and a hint of red fruit that keeps the cup from ever feeling heavy. Roasted medium-dark on purpose, this is the espresso that earns its place in your morning rotation: rich enough to stand alone as a straight shot, refined enough to taste like more than just "strong coffee."
Layered in flavor, balanced by design. Expect a smooth body, gentle natural sweetness, and notes of cocoa, caramelized sugar, subtle red fruit, and a light citrus finish. Pulled as espresso it produces a thick, golden crema and a long, sweet aftertaste that lingers without bitterness. Stretched with milk it becomes creamy and balanced — milk chocolate, toasted nuts, and a refined fruit sweetness that turns a cappuccino or flat white into something you actually look forward to. For people who want their espresso to taste like a place, not just a strength setting.
Shipping & returns
Roasted after you order
We don't keep bags sitting on a shelf. Your coffee goes into the roaster after you place your order — which is why it arrives tasting the way coffee is supposed to, and why it takes a few days longer than something pulled off a warehouse rack.
Free shipping
• Your first bag ships free — the code is applied for you at checkout.
• Orders over $35 ship free, always.
• On the Coffee Plan, every delivery ships free.
• Otherwise, shipping is a flat $3.
When it arrives
Roasting & packing: ~3 business days (a little longer around holidays)
In transit: 2–3 business days
Total: 3-7 business days — coffee at peak flavor, not warehouse-aged.
No expedited shipping
We can't rush a roast. That 3-day minimum is the roasting, resting and
packing — skipping it would mean sending you coffee that isn't ready.
Carriers
USPS for most orders (First Class for a single bag, Priority Mail for
2–8 bags), UPS Ground for larger orders (9+ bags).
Tracking
You'll get an email with tracking the moment your order ships. If it
shows "Pre-shipment," your box is packed and waiting for the next
carrier pickup.

WHO ROASTS THIS
Two Bulgarians. One American coffee aisle.
We’re Stefan and Ekaterina. Coffee came into our lives in Sofia — we learned the craft together in a small kitchen, long before we ever thought about a business.
Then came the American coffee aisle. Sixty bags on the shelf, most asking you to trust the label — half called “premium” with nothing to back it up. None of them told us who grew the beans, or were roasted for the cup in front of you. We couldn’t find the coffee we wanted — so we built it.
So we built the coffee we wanted at home: roasted after you order in California, with a starting recipe for the machine you already own, and the two of us a reply away if a cup isn’t right. Every bag also pours free coffee for young leaders at gatherings in Bulgaria — one more reason, if that matters to you.
